INTERVIEW WITH VINCE DESI
February 6, 2002

About: Vince Desi, also known a few time ago as the "Sharp Scissor", takes some time to answer ocasional questions about the newest title in development by Running With Scissors: POSTAL 2. Vince Desi is also the Project Lead, along with Mike Riedel, and he's RWS CEO.

PostalNetwork: Before we get to real deal, I got a question! Where the hell is The Gimp??

Vince: We haven't been able to find the Gimp. Last we heard the Gimp was Ass-hunting!

PN:  5 years after postal was released you guys now announce the deserved sequel! Some people after reading the announcement were a little bit skeptic about how Running With Scissors is still in business when other companies just dissapear. How do you explain that?

Vince: Simple. We believe in the games industry and we believe in ourselves, I'm literally betting my house on POSTAL 2.

PN:  I know many people are happy with this new game but have you received any direct, negative, response since the announcement?

Vince: So far its been an overwhelming positive response, we got one guy though that thinks we suck and said I need counseling, frigg him that's all I got to say!

PN: Are you expecting another pushback by the government or social groups? And of course, Australia WILL ban the game no matter what.

Vince: I hope not, with all the misery in the world I hope the bastards who are supposed to work for us and not against us just leave us the fuck alone!

PN: Now let's talk a little about the game! What's status at this moment? And, are you guys working with a dead-line in mind, or working freely rewarding hard and creative work?

Vince: Yeah, we're working for free and hard...POSTAL 2 will be out this Christmas 2002.

PN: The word "BETA" is also flooding everyone's mind. Without going into details, can we say "too early"?

Vince: Yeah too early for BETA. If I could make one point - we didn't want to announce the game like everyone else does - years before it ever comes out, and then many times a company goes out of business or the game gets cancelled, that's not happening with us.

PN: How many people involved in this project?

Vince: 11

PN: Anything else you would like to add?

Vince: Just a big THANKS to all our fans and new players for always supporting us and now being so receptive

Thanks Vince!
